Certificate in Project Management

Are you looking to consolidate your project management career and get ready for the next step?
The Project Plus Certificate in Project Management provides advanced skills and knowledge to further your professional development. In addition, the Certificate includes the vital strategies and knowledge you will need to operate effectively in a multi-project or programme management environment. The Certificate is the equivalent of NZQA Level 6 and is based on recognised unit standards for project management.
This is a regularly scheduled programme and is designed to be completed within a 12 month period.
+ What the Programme Covers:
- Participation in the following standard Project Plus workshops:
- Project Leadership (2 days)
- Business Change Management (1 day)
- Managing Multiple Priorities (1 day)
- Project Risk Management (1 day)
- Project Cost Management (1 day)
- Project Procurement Management (1 day)
- The 7 Management and Planning Tools (2 days)
- Practical Stakeholder Management (1 day)
- An ‘open-book’ assessment, equivalent to 120 minutes of effort and conducted on-line that tests knowledge, tools and concepts learned throughout the programme .

- Demonstrated previous project management experience required. Please apply for an application form.
- No off-site components or study required.

Programme Availability: The Certificate is offered through public workshops

Refreshments Provided: AM and PM teas as well as lunch on each classroom day
PMI Workshop Code: As on the web page for each individual workshop
PMI PDU Credit: A total of 75 PDU’s or professional training hours
PMBOK Knowledge Areas: All
IPENZ: Aligned with the IPENZ competence framework.
NZQA: Equivalent of NZQA Level 5/6

NB: If you have attended any of the workshops that comprise the Certificate in Project Management within the last 18 months, immediately prior to commencing the programme, these will be ‘cross-credited’ to the Certificate. Also the cost of completing the Certificate will be reduced to reflect the ‘discount price’, not the full standard price.
NB: You will need to be able refer to the material from those previous workshops in order to be prepared for the assessment.
