Certificate in Project Coordination
(8 days classroom time)
Are you looking to consolidate your existing skills or advance your career in project management? The Project Plus Certificate in Project Coordination is the first step on the journey and will give you the skills and confidence in any project or programme environment. In addition, the Certificate includes the vital business knowledge you will need to operate effectively in any project situation. The Certificate is the equivalent of NZQA Level 5 and is based on recognised unit standards for project management.
This is a regularly scheduled programme and is designed to be completed within a 12 month period.
+ What the Programme Covers:
- Participation in the following standard Project Plus workshops:
- Essential Skills for Managing Projects (2 day)
- Project Leadership (2 days)
- Project Planning and Control (1 day)
- Programme /Project Office - Establish and Manage (1 day)
- Microsoft Project (2 days)
An open-book assessment, taken on-line at the end of the programme, will test knowledge, tools and concepts learned throughout the programme.

- Previous experience in a project environment is desirable. Please apply for an application form.
- No off-site components or study required.

PMI PDU Credit: A total of 58.5 PDU's or professional training hours

NZQA: Content may contribute to NZQA unit standards

NB: If you have attended any of the workshops that comprise the Certificate in Project Coordination within the last 12 months immediately prior to commencing the programme , this will be ‘cross-credited’ to the Certificate. The cost of completing the Certificate will also be reduced by the ‘discount price’, not the full standard price.
NB: You will need to be able refer to the material from the previous workshops in order to be prepared for the assessment.
