Gaining CAPM Certification Study Programme
(The 2 day CAPM Prep workshop is included in the Project Plus CAPM Study Group Programme - you do NOT need to book that workshop separately).
Advance your project management career by using your knowledge and experience to date to gain the Project Management Institute’s internationally recognised accreditation – Certified Associate in Project Management accreditation.
This ‘Associate’ type certification is aimed at project team members or entry-level project managers who assist in producing project management services but do not yet possess the full work experience required for PMP certification. The study programme is designed to get you prepared for the CAPM examination by following a formalised study programme that consists of group work plus self learning. The programme focuses on the PMBOK Guide standard but also includes learning from some other sources.
This Study Programme consists of 3 full days of study group sessions. The CAPM Prep workshop is 2 full days of consolidation, key tips and messages and a mock exam, ie 5 days in total.
+ What you will learn - Learn the five Project Management Processes and the nine Bodies of Knowledge
- Tips & Techniques for passing the exam
- Understand and learn the key concepts and tools from the PMI Guide to the
PMBOK.
+ Prerequisites - Some experience in a project environment is helpful
- Completion of any of the CORE skills programmes or assessed equivalent
- PMI acceptance of your eligibility for the CAPM exam (at least 23 hrs of
PM training is required by PMI) or 1500 hrs of Project Experience - Off-site components and self-study required.
